Scanning Slides and Photos

Do you have boxes of old 35mm slides (or color negatives) that you would like to digitize for use on a computer or more permanent storage on CDs? In this workshop we’ll practice scanning 35mm slides into images using the Epson Perfection V700 Photo scanner. Time permitting, we’ll also briefly cover some of the basic terminology and procedures for digitizing slides, and mention a few of the tools you may want to use to “clean up” the resulting image. This will be a “hands-on” workshop, so you’ll be doing the actual scanning (with instructor supervision).

We can also handle prints.

Platform:the scanner is connected to a PC but is usable by everyone.
