Presentation:  “Everything You Need to Know About Passwords”

The QC Computer Club monthly presentation is all about passwords! Mike Dittl, QC resident and computer club instructor, presents the many aspects of passwords and password protection.

Are you writing your important passwords on a piece of paper you keep under the keyboard, in a wallet, or just locking them in your head? Do you ever wonder if there is a better, more secure encrypted way to store all those passwords needed to use the internet through a computer, smartphone, or tablet?

Well, if you answered YES to any of these questions, then this presentation is for you. In this presentation, we look at why strong passwords are important.  We will discuss what defines a strong password, how to safely track passwords, and make them secure at the same time.
